Dec 22nd Riendeer
This little chap has a wondeful shape made all the more bold due to the natural wood finish. I think riendeers are my favouriote Christmas characters, I used to leave out fruit pastilles for Rudolph with the mince pie and sherry for Father Christmas. Interesting that my Dad always encouraged me to leave Rudolph the green fruit pastilles...

Dec 6th Snowman
This is a snowman we made when we were making papier mache 'things', I may never have mentioned when we were papier mache pioneers. We made allsorts of things like life size gorrillas, barmen and waitresses, trapeze artists even a social worker (strange but true) for various businesses and people in and around the south west. We also made smaller things like this tree decoration which we never sold but still use to this day!

#25 Christmas Pudding
Merry Christmas!!! You knew I would make a painting today didn't you! I am so full this afternoon there is no danger of me eating anything else. As is traditional with advent calenders so it is with advent paintings, that the 25th window/painting is a bit bigger, This painting is oil on gesso 21cm x 17cm so, nearly twice the size of the others. Join me next year for more festive fun and you can carry on following the daily paintings here. Click here to buy.
